Taking no chances!

 This time 3 years ago the lock down restrictions had eased a bit and I could go out and tend to my phantom planted trees without having to wear this suit!


I remember when we went into full lock down and I never really knew how bad it would be, I wasnt to sure whether I would be allowed out to tend to the hundreds of trees I had just planted and we were in the middle of a serious heatwave too.


So just to be on the safe side I had ordered in a Government certified chemical warfare suit, I dont think anyone would have had a problem with me cruising the streets of Belfast wearing this watering my trees!


I was getting out to look after and water my trees one way or another, nothing was stopping me!


I even went to the shop wearing it and the looks I got was so funny, one guy said its a bit extreme isn't it, I said I'm taking no chances with this!


In a society thats a circus, just be the clown.....

  A bit about me and how I became the phantom planter. I grew up in a Loyalist housing estate in Belfast, my father a Protestant and my mother was a Catholic from Ardyone, that had big complications here in Northern Ireland but I always knew I was a mongrel, a bit different! From Spain to Belfast Phantom Planting!

  Phantom planted another apple tree yesterday with my big glaswegian pal who is over visiting! He couldn't believe the size of the orchard now! Last time we planted a tree was years ago in Spain, 2 plum trees we phantom planted out there, sadly they didn't survive but we had great fun doing it in the lashing rain right outside the Buddhist Stupa as you can see in one of the pics, an offering to the Buddha was my intention! I was at the worst of my addictions back then, used to visit this Stupa a lot for spiritual guidance, really found myself out there, spent a lot of time in Spain soul searching, taking advantage of the cheap winter flights and free stay! I had my last ever pint at the airport after praying at this Stupa, the Buddha responded to my offering I believe! Pretty magical really, faith in a higher power guys, that did it for me, there's more to all this life, more to all this all this world! "Those who don't believe in magic will never find it"..
