Hanging out with the trees!

 I definitely get some looks from wee betty and passers-by while hanging upside down from a tree!


But what a place to hang out, with your hands in the fresh running water coming down from the mountain, it really is something special down here, I'm so lucky to have it just 45 mins down the road from me.


Few banana sandwiches, boiled eggs and some coffee with you and you can have a great day for very little money, you cant beat walking to the top of a mountain fasted and have your lunch at the top!


I always try and walk mountains barefoot and fasted, meaning I would have had my last meal about 5pm the night before and eat at the top of the mountain around 12-1pm, its like my own little spiritual pilgrimage, you have no idea how good a banana sandwich taste after this, brown bread and loads of butter, its better than any drink or drug!


Think we all need to get put and strengthen our bodies, minds and souls more!


Sometimes it scares me the examples modern day society are showing our kids, its all gone a bit far!

  A bit about me and how I became the phantom planter. I grew up in a Loyalist housing estate in Belfast, my father a Protestant and my mother was a Catholic from Ardyone, that had big complications here in Northern Ireland but I always knew I was a mongrel, a bit different! From Spain to Belfast Phantom Planting!

  Phantom planted another apple tree yesterday with my big glaswegian pal who is over visiting! He couldn't believe the size of the orchard now! Last time we planted a tree was years ago in Spain, 2 plum trees we phantom planted out there, sadly they didn't survive but we had great fun doing it in the lashing rain right outside the Buddhist Stupa as you can see in one of the pics, an offering to the Buddha was my intention! I was at the worst of my addictions back then, used to visit this Stupa a lot for spiritual guidance, really found myself out there, spent a lot of time in Spain soul searching, taking advantage of the cheap winter flights and free stay! I had my last ever pint at the airport after praying at this Stupa, the Buddha responded to my offering I believe! Pretty magical really, faith in a higher power guys, that did it for me, there's more to all this life, more to all this all this world! "Those who don't believe in magic will never find it"..
