RIP Connor and his great granny....

 We had Helene Scott and her daughter over from Dover England visiting her sons memorial apple tree in our orchard, not long after I had started the phantom nearly 4 years ago Helene had commented on one of my posts saying that she had just recently lost her son Conner so I thought it would be a nice idea to phantom plant an apple tree here in Belfast for her in memory of Conner at our memorial orchard...


For years I've always been sending her updates on the tree and I've even posted her some apples from it and she has always been saying that one day she will come and visit her sons tree.


So Helene and her daughter did just that and came over to see the tree and just recently her granny passed away also. so while they was here we phantom planted an apple tree right next to her son Connors tree in memory of her granny, she also had some of Connors ashes that she added into the planting of her grannies tree....


You never know the effect you can have on someones life by phantom planting a fruit tree in memory of someones past loved ones, I know this meant a lot to Helene coming over and seeing her sons tree!


When I first started the phantom planter I had no idea what way these ripples were going to go, I never thought I would have a memorial orchard with hundreds of memorial fruit trees in it with many people coming to visit their trees as a place of comfort, I never would have dreamt that people would be coming from overseas to visit memorial trees at the phantom planters HQ!


Most of my life I wanted it all, I wanted millions, to be the richest man in the world I always dreamt off, my over inflated ego wanted it all...

Now I'm not out with the intention to make any sort of impact in the world, my intention is to change me and to change how I interact with the world on a personal basis and do my best in my own communities.

I'm not out with any big ideas to save the world and change it, or to get people to plant trees out of fear, I plant trees out of love, its so rewarding using your time for the greater good.

I'm out to try and find a way to sail through life as easy as possible and what I'm doing in planting and chanting and trying to help others as and when I can has made that life sailing a bit more humble.


I have my own little life and my own little way running around my local streets filling them up with fruit trees, I'm happy to carry on doing this for the rest of my life and sharing it on here, theres nothing more I want.

  A bit about me and how I became the phantom planter. I grew up in a Loyalist housing estate in Belfast, my father a Protestant and my mother was a Catholic from Ardyone, that had big complications here in Northern Ireland but I always knew I was a mongrel, a bit different! From Spain to Belfast Phantom Planting!

  Phantom planted another apple tree yesterday with my big glaswegian pal who is over visiting! He couldn't believe the size of the orchard now! Last time we planted a tree was years ago in Spain, 2 plum trees we phantom planted out there, sadly they didn't survive but we had great fun doing it in the lashing rain right outside the Buddhist Stupa as you can see in one of the pics, an offering to the Buddha was my intention! I was at the worst of my addictions back then, used to visit this Stupa a lot for spiritual guidance, really found myself out there, spent a lot of time in Spain soul searching, taking advantage of the cheap winter flights and free stay! I had my last ever pint at the airport after praying at this Stupa, the Buddha responded to my offering I believe! Pretty magical really, faith in a higher power guys, that did it for me, there's more to all this life, more to all this all this world! "Those who don't believe in magic will never find it"..
