Cant believe the response!

 The past couple of morning posts I've been doing about planting up peoples land with trees I've been completely inundated with messages from people offering land.


I've marked all your messages with a star to follow up and will get back to you soon, I really didnt think I would get this level of response to be honest!


But I've been talking it over with some people and my main concern is the legalities around the land remaining belonged to nature, obviously people pass on and land gets sold and its a lot of effort on my part and others and the money that I'm intending to raise for this which is roughly a thousand pound an acre give or take to buy trees and protectors to plant up the land and then finding volunteers to do it which Is all easily enough done on my part.


But I do not want to go to all this hassle then years later down the line someone sell the land and it gets bulldozed and built on or the timber gets sold.


So I've been thinking of setting up a specific trust just for this project and the land gets put in the trust with the person donating the land becomes a trustee being actively involved in the trust and all its goings ons and the agreement is the land can never be sold or profited from and must always belong part of nature.


I feel guys that this is the only way this could work and would be the only way I would feel comfortable about channeling my energy into a project like this, I have a specialist guy on my side who manages trusts who is going to sort all this out.


This may put alot of people off but hope you understand guys I'm thinking long term here for nature, I'm thinking way ahead long after we are all gone!


It will be mother natures trust...

From Spain to Belfast Phantom Planting!

  Phantom planted another apple tree yesterday with my big glaswegian pal who is over visiting! He couldn't believe the size of the orchard now! Last time we planted a tree was years ago in Spain, 2 plum trees we phantom planted out there, sadly they didn't survive but we had great fun doing it in the lashing rain right outside the Buddhist Stupa as you can see in one of the pics, an offering to the Buddha was my intention! I was at the worst of my addictions back then, used to visit this Stupa a lot for spiritual guidance, really found myself out there, spent a lot of time in Spain soul searching, taking advantage of the cheap winter flights and free stay! I had my last ever pint at the airport after praying at this Stupa, the Buddha responded to my offering I believe! Pretty magical really, faith in a higher power guys, that did it for me, there's more to all this life, more to all this all this world! "Those who don't believe in magic will never find it"..
