Good vibes is what the world needs!
My wee rebel mum always told me growing up never to talk politics when out and about. Talking politics here in Northern Ireland could have cost you your life. It did cost so many lives here too.
These days it seems everywhere you go is people talking about world politics. Its funny though as people seem to think everyone has the same opinion as themselves so they think its ok to go and spout off they're views to whoever they want.
One guy I know kept going on and on at me for weeks about his views on things that have nothing to do with me or what I was doing at them times when he was talking with me, Which was planting and maintaining trees around his house.
I can only deal with and make a difference with whats in front of me. This is what the universe is revealing to you now, the present moment is what we should be connecting to and respecting.
The true Dharma practice in Buddhism is to live selflessly to this present moment.
But this man kept putting his views upon me time and time and time again in a very intellectual and fancy worded way btw.
I said one thing back to him which I shouldn't have as I try not to get into these types of debates with people. But the short few words I said back to him his eyes started to go red and I honestly thought he was going to hit me with his walking stick! I couldnt believe it!
We are all dividing ourselves over things that have got nothing to do with here and while we are letting ourselves being filled with these purposely designed thoughts and views being spewed out by the media. What good are we for helping and raising our own much needed community spirit or helping the crippling nature world and ecosystems.
Yesterday I went and bought 2 apple trees as a surprise for a very ill man who has being going blind over the past many months , he was always wanting to plant a tree with me but due to his sickness we never got around to it.
So yesterday I went and bought these apple trees and brought them round to him and made up some memorial tags for his past loved one, I left the trees in his garden for him and said I'll be back this Sunday for you to phantom plant these in a field outside his flat. I'll get everything ready and let him put the tree in the ground himself. He was so over the moon hugging me and I could see the joy it was bringing him.
Then as I was getting into my van this woman comes over who knows me from my past and as the phantom planter now, she gave me a big warm hug and was wanting her son to meet me. She brought me to her garden to show off her first ever plum tree she planted and told me that she gathered acorns last year, grew them up and brought her kid to the forest to phantom plant them. She was so excited to to tell me all this.
I said I'll be back on Sunday to plant 2 apple trees in that field there and get your son over to plant one. He'll love that she said.
There are so many good deeds I actively do every day, many I never talk about for it can come across egotistical for me at times.
And I just dont get time to talk about it as I'm always out doing it. I have my writing times in the morning to tell some things and the rest of the day I'm out living it. People say you need to do this online or setup this other new profile up to raise your awareness. I dont have time, I'm out living these good deeds daily myself.
We should all take the advice of my wee rebel mum and go out and do good deeds instead. We have no idea how far our ripples will spread.
