A day watering trees.
Was out and about watering trees from 6am yesterday morning. Didnt get finished up until about 6pm last night. Was watering on and off constantly all day in between wheeling and dealing my Buddha Beds Luxury mattresses.
I have trees all over South Belfast and have been going around watering the trees thats been planted in the past year or 2.
There is no rain forecast for another week at least and with the weather being so hot its time to keep on top of things and help the trees thrive.
Its also good to go around and check on the trees too. Sure what else would you want to be doing on a nice hot sunny day.
Spent a few hours late afternoon in our new Lisnabreeny Community Orchard, tops off, barefooted tending to the trees. I was in the heavenly realm, just me, wee betty and the trees.
I also love to make watering the trees a workout too. Many people say I should get a trolley or a hose or something to make it easier, not for me.
I love the pump it gives me carrying 2 x 25 litre drums over a hundred metres or so to water the trees. Best forearm and trap workout you'll get.
I tried to do a video of me doing it but it didnt workout that well. I would love to do more videos telling you all what I get up too but I dont have time. I also dont have time for video editing and I prefer to do most things on my own so never have anyone to camera me.
Whats most important for me is my connection with nature and staying true to myself.
I love to write more than making videos. Writing for me is special, its creative and practice for me when I'm older. In my old age I intend to write books and lots of them.
Writing for me also feels a lot less egotistical. Its so easy to get carried away with our egos on these social media sites.
"The only thing harder than climbing Mount Everest, is climbing it and not telling anyone".
If there was no social media would you still do what you do? OR if you were the last person in the world would you still do what you do?
Future generations are going to look back at us one day saying, they're world was being destroyed around them and most choose to use this amazing global platform of connection to prance about like clowns at a circus.
We are consuming too much and not returning.
My symbiotic connection with mother nature is the most important thing for me.
Planting trees is my way of leveling up.
I challenge you all to phantom plant a tree today.
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter
