Be the light!

The phantom planters movement does not and will never sell out to advertising companies or apply for grants or sponsorships. Some people think this is crazy as I could do so much more with loads of extra money they say.

I'm not so sure this would be true as I would probably loose track of my own inner journey having to conform with so much constipated BS. Then I wouldn't have time to write my posts the way I do most mornings or have the headspace to look after and help the people, dogs and trees that surround me daily.

The problem I think with the world is so many want to change the world but they cant even help make changes in themselves or their own little bubbles. Like what our senses see, touch and smell every day is where our effort should be going to make changes.

Like so many environmental activists that I see and talk too, when you ask them have they planted a tree before many haven't!

I can actually see and feel from many of them that they have no interest at all in helping nature or they're own communities.

Its something for them to do is stand and shout they're heads off with placards. And if you notice its nearly always nice sunny days they do it too.

Then another thing I notice on here is the same people that like to shout there heads off and make themselves heard, they always seem to be attending different types of protests. If not this one one week its another the next. Festival protesters it seems.

The world has enough negativity being spewed out into it without adding to it.

We need antidotes, positive antidotes.

Buddhism has taught me that we need to work on us and our own circles. Never mind what others are doing, its what you are doing that counts.

Every day the most important things to me is being aware and being mindful of my own relationship with the world and how I interact with it. Concerning myself with other peoples negativity is infectious. Any person, animal or anything to do with nature that falls on my path in life will be treated and helped with compassion. Its important to keep enriching the energy field that surrounds us.

Be that gold coin amongst the garbage bringing joy to all who pass by is what the Buddha says.

We must work on our own light and shine bright. Its the only way in my eyes.

I challenge you all to phantom plant a tree today!

Peace and love
