An apple a day.
Bought seven top notch bramley apple trees yesterday to plant in the spaces of our new Lisnabreeny community orchard where the trees we planted last year didn't make it.
Between Bramley and James Grives I'm not sure which one grows better in our wet Northern Irish climate. I have never seen any of these 2 trees with canker or any other disease.
Bramley is a great variety to guarantee a heavy crop and the apples can store for months.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away is a saying that's believed to be very true. Not the apples they sell in the shops though. We have no idea what is sprayed on these or where they've came from. Wild phantom planted apple straight from nature is what you want.
But apples have been known to be one of the best super foods we can eat. Cleaning our insides better then most other foods.
Studies have shown how much they can benefit our gut and intestines with just one apple a day.
We don't have to be eating berries from the Amazon or nuts from Madagascar.
The real super foods that our DNA thrives on is what grows in our surroundings.
Berries and apples are all around us from now till October if you know where to look.
Get picking as much as you can and freeze them so you can take one small portion of natural organic mycelium charged foods daily.
When we eat organic food, land has still been used to create this. Its still been farmed and areas have been deforested to make make way for this. And lots of organic produce is wrapped in plastic and shipped all over the world.
I'm a great believer we all need to eat more wild foods that's grown connected to the mycelium network. We are missing vital elements.
We have only really been eating farmed foods for the past 10k years at most.
Before that everything was wild.
I always observe the agility and fitness of nature.
Like how squirrels move from tree to tree better than anything a human can invent, or how small birds can fly all over the world. Then you see mountain leopards that can fall from the sides of cliffs and get up and chase it's prey like nothing happened.
Nature are the ultimate machines.
Humans would have been like this too once I believe and I would say one of the greatest factors how all these species are super in their own ways is because they are eating live wild foods.
Apparently all doctors take the Hipocratic oath and it was Hippocrates that said "let foods be thy medicine and medicine be thy food".
We have lost touch today about what real food is.
I can't believe how many doctors out there today promote so much man-made foods and drugs. Guess it all has its place, but it's all gone a bit too far from our human roots if you ask me.
We all need to get phantom planting food products and connecting to nature.
Peace and love
The Phantom planter
