Priceless moments.

 Priceless moments yesterday.

I go to this local park sometimes and train on this wooden garden gondola doing my usual pull ups, handstands and spinning upside down and stuff. All the usual stuff you do when you get in touch with your inner child in later life.

This place is right next to basketball courts and about 30 or so kids came with a couple of adults to play. These kids must have been around 9/10 years old I would say.

As they were playing away and I just carried on doing my workouts I heard some of them say. "wow he's like superman" - "how can he do that" - what is that man doing" - ! what kind of of crazy moves are they"!

These were just some of the things I heard coming from the court. Many of their wee faces were just standing looking in amazement and I heard some of them say to the adults, can we do what he's doing, can we do handstands' and then one said why are we not doing pushups.

One of the young lads I noticed was just looking at me giving me the thumbs up to everything I was doing.

Off I went after walking on my hands with some of the kids shouting see ya superman and thought nothing more of it.

It brought a smile to my face all this and the crazy thing was at first when the kids came I was nearly for going somewhere else. You see I like to find places where I can train in Zen. My style of training is in meditation and the noise of the kids would be disturbing my Zen. But then I thought, we have to find Zen in the noise of the world. Isn't that what its all about?  We can never control our exterior but we can control our interior. So I stayed and trained like I always do and decided to rejoice in the energy of the kids. Most things that annoy us on the outside is often an internal problem anyway.

About 30 mins later after I left I got a call from a lady who wanted to come to my showroom to view mattresses. I went and met her and she had this young kid with her and as soon as he seen me he was like OMG its you! Mummy you want to see what this man can do the young lad was saying!

He was one of the kids in the basketball court .

He started asking me how can I do what I do?

In my showroom I have a pullup bar and yoga hammock and I give him a few lessons. His mum bought a mattress and when she said did I need help lifting it. The young lad said, "mummy this man could lift this with one hand".

She paid me cash and I give the young lad a tenner for luck and said now you must do 30 negative pullups every day just like I showed you and in one month you'll be doing proper pull-ups.

Off he went smiling and so was I.

You know whats nice these days that I've dropped out of the ratrace and onto the Buddha pace. Is that I've got time for people. I can be more present than ever before with people.

I sold another mattress yesterday and recommended to the lady that I would plant an Irish yew tree in her garden for her. This is a brand new build housing area, one of these new developments where they cut down all the oak trees that was once there and then call the area the oaks. Then they plant all laurel in the gardens and not one oak tree in sight. The lady was over the moon about this and I told her the Yew tree will ward away negative energies and protect your home. "So the little people say" is what I told her. She laughed and loved the positivity she said.

Many years ago in my wheeling and dealing antics every person was just pound to me. I didnt care about the person at all and had no real time for anyone apart from what I could get from them.

Today everyone I meet is just another soul stuck in this prison of life with me and the easiest way for us all to get through it is by being decent and treating everyone with respect.

Peace and love guys.
