The Big Belly Oak Tree.

The Big Belly Oak of Savernake forest Wiltshire.

I went and collected acorns of this ancient beauty a few years ago which have now grown into thriving baby oak trees today.

This is said to be one of the oldest oaks in the UK (1100 years old approx).

Its all hallowed out and you can stand inside it. The day I went it started to pour out of the sky and me and wee betty took shelter in the tree. Was a pretty magical moment.

We all need to be collecting seeds from our ancient trees and grow them up for phantom planting. Such a great thing to do guys.

Peace and love
