Good morning guys as most of you know its coming into acorn season and for the past many years I've been on the hunt collecting acorns from all the oldest and most iconic oak trees from around the UK and Ireland.
I'm looking to recruit some new Paramilli-Tree SAS members (Special Acorn Service) to help me out on this mission.
Below is a list of trees that I would love to get checked out if producing acorns this year. If anyone is close by to any of these trees could you please check and message me directly if the trees are producing acorns this year. Many wont be ready until the end of September beginning of October but some around the more South of England could be ready now.
If they are ready your mission will be to collect them and post them to me.
Royal oak Boscobel Shropshire
Domesday oak Bristol
Darley oak Upton Cross Cornwall
Queen Elizabeth oak Cowdray Park Midhurst
The Great oak Panshanger Park Hertfordshire
Pontfadog oak Wales
Sidney oak Penshurst palace kent
Brian Boru oak County
Clare Ireland
Birnam Oak Dunkeld Scotland
Majesty Oak Fredville Park Dover
Allerton oak Calderstones Park Liverpool
Chained oak Alton Towers
Gog and Magog oaks Glastonbury ( someone said these may be dead now though)
Old Knobbley oak Mistley Essex
This is your chance to be part of something mighty guys.
If you can help me out on this would really appreciate it.
Please as I said only message me directly as I dont be reading comments. And please only message me about the trees mentioned above. I have so many already from other famous trees, I'm only looking specific ones for my collection.
All these trees are going to be planted up in an oak grove museum here in Belfast. Preserving the genetics and linage of these King trees.
There are much deeper mystical reasons why I want all these. But thats for a children's story book long after I'm gone!
This is the time we all need to get out and collect seeds from our ancient trees, grow them up and become phantom planters.
I challenge you to phantom plant a tree
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter
