First batch of acorns!
Got my first batch of acorns through in the post yesterday.
Thank you so much guys for taking the time and effort to collect these and post me them.
These 2 batches are from the Panshanger Great Oak and the Allerton Oak.
Anyone that has messaged me saying they are able to help out on this mission I've let them all go and go involved. I'm happy for more than one person to collect from the same tree. It's nice to let as many get involved as possible as none of the acorns will be going to waste. I have more than one plantation to do and all oaks that grow from the acorns will be labelled and planted.
Its also good for me to have more of a selection from the same tree so I can pick the best trees for my oak grove ring. 37 saplings from the oldest and most iconic oak trees from all over the UK and Ireland will be getting planted in a ring.
Next week we are going to cut the ring out in the field, preparing the land and getting it ready for planting this November.
So far I have 15 oak saplings that I've been growing for the past few years that will be getting planted this year. All the acorns I get this year I'll propagate and pick the best for adding to the ring next year.
My plan is to have a plaque at each tree telling the stories of the parent tree. From oak trees that Robin Hood hid in to oak trees that Robert Ketts ordered a rebellion under. Its going to be a lifelong project of mine creating this right next to our Lisnabreeny Community Orchard, where we have over 300 Irish variety apple trees, with probably one of my favourite named Irish varieties "The No Surrender" apple tree.
The Paramili-Trees will never Surrender!
Sometimes when you look around the world and see so much darkness and fear, many say sure whats the point. The world is already messed up, its gone too far many say and just bury their heads and carry on accepting the doom and gloom.
Thich Nhat Hanh, who was a very famous Vietnamese monk who had seen and endured more suffering than most and still was one of the most positive and inspiring people to have lived.
He says the next Buddha to come to earth will be not an individual, but a community.
Lets all get out there and be part of that positive community, get the heads out of the doom and gloom, its doing you or the people around you no good. Instead of sharing the next big disaster on here or the next big fear. Why not go and plant some trees, meditate, collect some litter, check in on your elderly or help out some way in your community. Then start to share more of that, the world needs it!
For the past couple of weeks I've stopped scrolling on here, I dont need to know every bit of mayhem going on out there, or how good your boobs or pecs look. Peoples moaning is just too much for me at times. I had to stop coming on here.
All I care about is my own liberation and merit making and the way we earn spiritual merit is through selfless acts for the greater good. Analysing my own self and how I can be a better person is more important to me than exposing all the faults and mayhem of others.
Thats why I never get involved with any political stuff, its purposely designed to corrupt you, when your whole aim is to bring down and disagree with the opposition, that can only do one thing to your own mental stability, which is mess it up. Its like playground BS just having to disagree and find faults with everything the opposition says. Peoples own hate and ego are blinding them.
Be a positive vibration guys, its the only antidote right now. You'll feel better also.
I challenge you to phantom plant a tree
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter
