The spiral is complete
Yesterday we got the spiral in the field finished for our oak grove with the help of wee betty cutting the grass also.
Be keen to get a drone over it very soon to see how it looks from above.
The entrance to the spiral is going to be through our heritage Irish orchard. In the future people can pick some fruit and walk around the spiral to the centre and then back again, checking out all the stories of the oak trees we have on the way.
This spiral is going to be a very important place of ritual for me.
I walked around it a few times yesterday chanting into myself Om Mani Padme Hum, breathing deeply, slowly and mindfully on the way. It really is a place of planting and chanting at its best!
Slowing my monkey mind is one of the most important things for me. So much stuff out there these days exaggerates the unsteady monkey mind. Also my past dodgy life has a big effect on my mind too. Living looking over my shoulder most of my life has not been good either.
I've also been thinking a lot about why I'm still a real stickler for time, when people are late and it really winds me up.
Its doing dodgy deals most of my life has me like this. When someone was late, it often meant the police got them or they got robbed or something. Even growing up around my delboy dad, when people were coming to buy his dodgy goods, he used to go mad about people being late for him. Often saying do you think I'm going to get caught with this stuff by the police due to your lateness. It used to really wind my dad up people being late.
I'm on a mission guys to bring my mind to a peaceful and content place. I don't believe this state of mind can be bought or bartered. Pills, herbs and other calming things may help but what happens if you cant get them? I know what happened to me in the past when I couldn't get my calming pills or herbs. I lost the plot - I turned into a monster!!!
The same way we put so much effort into say running a marathon, building muscles or being able to drink 10 pints like a champion. This same effort and energy must go into understanding and calming our own mind and thoughts. Its our thoughts create all the highs and lows, pleasures and pains, happiness and suffering. Getting to grips with owning my own head is what I'm after. we let way too much rubbish live rent free in our minds.
Anyhow guys, we are going to measure out the length of the spiral and divide the distance by 37 and then plant the 37 ancient oaks acorns evenly along the spiral. We are then going to line the spiral with a holly hedge and right in the middle of the spiral will be an Irish yew tree.
I'm going to walk this spiral all the time from the outside in. chanting and visualising on the way of bring my mind back to its peaceful state. Its all a whirlwind of noise and BS out there having us all run around with our heads up our backside. And of course keeping us in the crazy states of mind we buy and consume more.
Om mani padme hum guys.
I challenge you to phantom plant a tree
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter
