From Ratrace to Buddha pace!
Loving life in my new cabin!!
The start of the cold weather is here and this new cabin is toasty. Honestly, when living the way I was for the past 7 years or so in the old rotted cabin I'm feeling like I'm in the Hilton here. My penance is served.
My health has never felt better either sleeping in this new cabin, no damp or mould and having a kitchen with a kitchen table also in the dry heat is just bliss. My diet has never been better too.
Also like bringing friends round to cook food which is something I haven't been able to do for the past 7 years also.
Many years ago when I was striving to be the ace in the rat race I got myself caught up with so many balls, chains and conformities. After experiencing this fast paced life and then being disqualified from the monopoly board by the way of bankruptcy, ( which was a blessing in disguise, though at the time my ego was that badly hurt I wanted to kill myself)
I've come to realise that its not money, land or houses, thats your greatest asset, its your time. We are all giving our time in return to have all the glitz, glamour, toys and tinsel.
The statuses, titles and all the assets of this way of life we are all led to believe is amazing, swallows up all your time. It eats up your soul and destroys you from within.
I've been purposely on a mission to streamline my life for years now so that time is my greatest asset. I like owning my time. The only direct debit I have is my phone. I bought this cabin outright and saved years for it. Now I live rent free.
Theres not much in the monopoly board anymore that tickles me. When your spiritual path is most important to you all the toys and tinsel we gather in the monopoly board is just a fetter, a hinderance to your spiritual path.
Its also a hinderance for my phantom planting mission also. Its only because I live like this that I have the time, energy and enthusiasm to do what I do daily for the past 6 years. I can count on my hand the days off I've taken in the past 6 years from promoting phantom planting.
My allegiance lies with nature. We are from nature, our bodies are only on loan from nature, one day we will return. Nothing makes more sense to me that during this time our purpose should be to serve nature. We are missing the point big time guys. We are acquiring vast amounts of soul debt by following the way of the world. These karmic burdens we can't escape I believe. Selfless service to all of creation is the path we all must try and follow. We are only fooling ourselves any other way.
Step out of the Ratrace and onto the Buddha pace guys.
I challenge you to phantom plant a tree
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter
