Gifts from Jonny Rotten

This time 3 years ago me and my right hand man got Christmas gifts sent to us from Jonny Rotten. We both got some of his signed limited edition prints.

Jonny was over phantom planting with us the previous summer before that. He planted a plum tree in our orchard for the memories that his wife once had he said. At the time his wife was suffering from dementia.

Just shows you how running around with a mask on phantom planting trees caught the attention of Jonny Rotten. Lots of people always say why do I wear a mask. There are many reasons I wear one but one things for sure. If I was barefaced planting trees no one would blink an eye. I've had all sorts of BBC documentaries made about me, been on the front page of mainstream newspapers many times. This time its good to make front page news though for good things. My past underworld antics got me front page news once and I had to do a runner!! Changed times though!

Still I get asked all the time to do newspaper stories and radio shows, even got asked there the other week to go on some famous podcast in Beverly Hills. Its not me, takes me out of my comfort zone too much. For me its like the Fisher man and the business man story. A business man goes on holiday and while lying on the beach he sees this fisherman come back with a boat load of fish and sells it right away as he docks. The fisherman then goes and lies on the beach all day. The business man approaches saying I watched you sell all them fish in an instant, why dont you go out and get another boat load and sell them? The fisherman replies, then what will I do? The business says then you could get more boats and employ people. The fisherman replies again, then what will I do? You could then get factories and tin your stuff and sell it worldwide!

The fisherman then says again, and then what will I do?

Then you can put the feet up and relax the business man says.

The fisherman replies, "What do you think I'm doing now!

I love this story, I wish I had of heard this many years ago myself!

Although I probably wouldnt have taken heed when stuck right in the thick of the underworld!

At one time I had enough money for 10 people to retire. Fireproof samsonite briefcases with approx 50k compressed into each one and I had many of them hidden all over the place. Cash was coming out my ears at one time and I wanted more and more. That game of paper and digits we are all deluded into playing can really f**k with our egos! To be honest it was a stress worrying about it all.

I think these days that any man that has more than what he needs is living in sin. There are massive negative karmic consequences to having so much paper and digits.

For me money is only a form of accounting for destruction of mother nature. Everything we use and consume has come from nature. We mine minerals, chop down forests and turn them into BS toys and tinsel.

We then create paper and digits to account for this destruction. The more paper and digits you are hoarding the more destruction of mother nature you have accounted for.

It says in the bible all God wants is 10% back and he'll be happy. I dont think he means giving that 10% back to the church. I think he means giving it back to the creation.

Buddhists dont really believe in a God. Everything is God, the trees, the rocks, the sea, sky and all thats around us, its all God!

We are all supposed to contribute back to that as individuals in a selfless way with the purest is intentions. I am you and you are me. We are just all particles of the same creation. Big D aka the Dalai Lama says the true path to happiness is contributing to others happiness. Not easy though as our egos get in the way big time. We are such jealous greedy creatures at times. We are only fooling ourselves though.

Anyhow guys 14 apple trees I phantom planted yesterday as gifts to the community and nature. My mate said to me yesterday why dont you sell the trees, and then what will I do I said. You could reinvest and build a bigger tree nursery he said. No thanks! Back the the fisherman and business man story right there.

Phantom planting is like a sport to me. I have my new tiny home and thats all I have wanted for years.

I'm 45 and in the best shape of my life. I don't do drink or drugs anymore and all the dodgy woman that cost me a fortune in the past I can see through them. I have always said from 45-50 I'm reliving my childhood. My favourite things to do is phantom planting trees, walking dogs and training young kids in the gym. I have no interest in cocaine and hookers anymore, or the toys and tinsel of the rat race.

If you look around guys at all the highest paid jobs, the richest people, our leaders and all the other high status titles out there. For me I dont get a warm humble happy feeling from any of them. They are all stressed to the max. I'm a great believer of following the habits and traits from people I aspire to be like.

Training a young lad the other day in the gym whos about to start studying law. I said to him, do you really want to spend your life in that sort of toxic environment. Wearing clothes that feel like a straight jacket everyday and  surrounded by the most constipated people around. Get back to your primal self. We are all of Gaelic origins here I said to him.  We are made for running over mountains and being in nature. Not stuck in some artificial world. All looks good for the ego though but think of the soul. So many go down this route to keep mummy and daddy happy.

Get a career contributing to and working with nature I said to him. I say this to all young kids.

Just keep on planting and chanting for me and I challenge you all to phantom plant a tree yourself!

Peace and love
