We are what we think!

"We are what we think, all that we are arises from our thoughts, with our thoughts we make our world"...

First line of the Dhammapada from The Buddha....

I watch people on here all the time that post dark and destressing things, They're posts is one disaster after another. I do hit unfollow a lot though as my brain cant take too much. Think all our brains are way too overloaded these days with BS. We need a bit of a BS diet I think. Clear the heads and reset!

But I have observed many over the years that get caught in the darkness and they seem to bring on more and more of it. Many I have watched their personal lives go into turmoil. I do believe its due to where they are directing their energies. They are manifesting madness!

When we are in these heighten states of negative vibrations we become a magnet to all sorts of more doom and gloom. I believe this deep down from experience.

I could tell some stories of this happening to me.

I remember one time I had to get dodgy goods out of a house fast as I got a tip off that people were coming to rob me. I got everything loaded into the van in a frantic state of mind. Drove up the motorway to another safe house to drop off the goods and as I was driving up the motorway my van engine went on fire. I freaked out big time, if you break down on a motorway the police are certain to stop and I had a van load of goods that would have got me locked up for a very long time.

A guy stopped in a 40 footer and jumped out with a fire extinguisher and we got the fire out. What had happened is a piece of my manifold pipe broke off and caught fire to the insulation in the engine. I got the van going again and off I went to get my dodgy goods hidden.

On another occasion a mate of mine gets arrested in another country and he had loads of dodgy stuff in his house. I knew I had time to go and get the stuff out of his house before information was passed on to maybe check his house here in Northern Ireland by the police.

I went and loaded my van up with the stuff and took it to another warehouse I had. I was in another heightened frantic state the whole time. I got to the warehouse and drove the van right in. As I was offloading at about 3am in the morning the electric went out. I freaked out big time.. WTF is going on here I was thinking. Pitch black 3am in the morning with a van load of stuff that could get me sent down for a very long time. I sneaked out the back door and had a look around the street to see the electricity board was out digging up the road doing work!

I couldnt believe it. Why would they come out at 3am I was thinking. The heightened negative emotions when caught in these situations you can feel run through your body. I was literally vibrating negativity.

I could talk all day about these types of things that happened to me in my underworld past. I believe that when in these heightened states of negative vibrations we are an instant magnet to more mayhem. Always right in the middle of the dodgiest things I've ever did does really strange and crazy things happen. It was my energy attracting and manifesting it.

First time I ever read the Dhammapada this book spoke to my soul. I didnt just believe it, I lived it and experienced it. Its one of the reasons why I'm such a devout Buddhist practitioner.

Our minds for me is like a film reel, our eyes the projector and the world is the movie playing out. Its a practice what we let into our minds, for most of the stuff we see is full of trickery and delusion. Its like a virus to our system.

Why does society go to so much bother to fill our minds with information. Right from we can walk we are being fed BS information and programmed. People spend their entire lives learning regurgitated information for tests and exams. Having our minds entangled in a maze. Thats Mara the tempter the Buddhas call it. Keeping us right where we're wanted.

I dont write this like I'm free from Mara, far from it, Mara has us all by the balls. I'm aware of it though and I'm in a much better place than I was 10 years ago.

They say once you step out of the rat race and onto the Buddha pace its inevitable that you will attain enlightenment in a few lifetimes. The seed of the lotus flower has been planted. Its one of the reasons the world has gone to so much bother to try and hide the teachings of the Dharma for millennias.

I believe The Buddha choose Nepal to be reborn in to spread the Dharma teachings. Its the only country never to be invaded as no one could find it. The Buddha knew his teachings would be safe there for a very long time.

Look at the pagan and druid holocaust that happened across Europe. You know it was the pope ordered England to invade Ireland in the 1100s with a message to wipe it paganism once and for all. The Druids and pagans where the Buddhas of Europe to me.

The Buddha knew what he was doing reincarnating himself in Nepal.

And then the Chinese invade Tibet and the wheel of the Dharma is spread to all corners of the world with these High Lamas living in exile.

With every negative comes an equal or greater positive.

Be part of this postive movement guys. Go phantom plant a tree and do your bit for nature and community.

Peace and love
