25 more apple trees planted.

 Invited up one of my longest supporters yesterday to plant her own tree at our Lisnabreeny community orchard. She got her mask and is now sworn in as an official phantom planter. Was great to meet you and hope to see you at your tree again one day.

We planted 25 more heritage apple trees yesterday at our orchard. That brings the total amount of Irish apple trees planted at 231 in the past month.

Seems the more trees I'm planting the more the followers have been going up. The main Phantom Planter Facebook page has grown by over 11k followers in the past week to 133k. 

With so many of these new followers sending me messages saying challenge accepted with pics of them out phantom planting trees and many more messages of people saying they are going to phantom plant!

Its really special for me guys to see and hear all this. Thank you! 

I laugh to myself when I think back to my Delboy dad when I first started this planting and chanting. 

I used to buy trees with my own money and head around housing estates just randomly planting them. My dad used to say - "Son what are you playing at, them trees will get wrecked and you cant be spending all that money and not making anything back". 

I said to him, look dad this is my part of my Buddhist practice to make nature offerings and help the community. Its also said to help purify my negative karma also by giving selflessly and with pure intentions. This was all woo woo BS to my gangster dad. He used to say to me so serious, " you know them Boodoos have you possessed son"...

He just couldn't get his head around it at all. 20 years ago I couldn't have got my head around it either. I would have thought back then that this new me was the biggest weirdo about!

Sometimes in life your forced to really stop and analyse things. I had this realisation of all the things I've sold and wheeled and dealed at from I could walk practically. All these goods came from nature. Nature has been destroyed and abused to create everything that I have sold over the years. Then when I had a house clearance company for about 10 years I did some shocking things to the environment. All for what??? 

Paper and digits!!!

The rest of my life will be spent trying to level up with this mass of mess I am responsible for. All the wrong doings, dodgy deals and hoodwinking. I want these karmic debts settled before I die.

Be careful out there in that crazy world of delusion. We keep getting caught up in others peoples karma. For me this world is all karma manifesting. We cant stop any of it. Its all cause and effect. All we can do is sort our own karma if you ask me.

The Buddhas talk of infinite other planets and realms of existence. Depending how your interacting with this one determines where you are going in the next. And it will also determine how good this life can be too. The more good karma you create the less pain and suffering you will endure. We are self creating beings the Buddha says.

Anyhow back to my Delboy dad. I never forget when it came round to the anniversary of the passing of my wee mum. I said to my dad do you want to go and plant a tree in memory of her. My dads eyes lit up and off we went and phantom planted a pear tree in memory of my wee mum. Every week my dad went to visit the tree to tidy it up and water it, right up on till his last days.

I couldnt believe it!

Them Boodoos werent all bad Delboy dad!

The pear tree is massive today, its the best pear tree I've ever planted. My dads love and good energy went into this tree and I believe this is why its so good today. We planted 2 of the same pear trees that day and the other one has always been sick and dying looking. My wee mums is thriving.
