Another 25 apple trees planted
Planted 25 of my heritage apple trees on a long time wheeling and dealing best mates land yesterday.
The stuff we have got up too and sold from we were kids is unreal. When I was about 20 we had this mobile pound shop called great deals on wheels and we went round the doors flogging all sorts of fancy goods. From toilet rolls to door mats and dodgy washing powder that blocked up every ones washing machines. We should have known better though as we bought this from dodgy dude called Pastor sell by date. Everything this guy sold was out of date or dodgy.
We then had a pound shop together which ended up turning into a party den.
We have sold glowsticks and burgers at raves to beer and deck chairs at band parades. Only problem at times was my mate was quick to knock out the customers. One customer was drunk falling all over the top of our burgers once and my mate hits him an uppercut. Another guy drunk buying glowsticks, he got knocked out too. I used to say to him that this isn't good customer service knocking out the customers mate.
We've been through so much together over our lives, lots that I wouldn't even want to talk about on here.
But I tell you something. This mate of mine was the most supportive ever when I first started to walk the Buddha path. For couple of years when I was getting into Buddhism I was still a drunkard and on all sorts of drugs, I would have been giving out sermons in bars and stuff and he would have been clapping saying hear hear thats my man!!! One time I took the mic of a band in a pub and started talking all my Buddhist stuff to the crowd. Not once did my mate ever get embarrassed, He was encouraging me clapping shouting let the man speak!
Hope your reading this my Buddha brother. I'll never forget what you done for me.
Another thing, the first apple tree I ever phantom planted it was us and our kids that planted it around 11 years ago!
Amazing how life can come full circle, I mean when we were younger we were the dudes about town that people would have been cautious off. Yesterday we were planting trees and talking about how to help nature.
I challenge you to phantom plant a tree
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter
