Same tree 5 years on!
Was out and about yesterday and stopped off at a phantom plantation from about 5 years ago.
This one in the pics is a memorial cherry tree. One pic is from 5 years ago and the other is from yesterday, some growth!
We have many phantom planted fruit trees in this area that are all thriving.
Many people asking me whats the best tree to plant or how do I know it wont get mowed down or destroyed.
Its all a gamble guys, you win some and you loose some.
But a good guide line is make sure its 5 metres away from any path or road so fallen fruit can never be a problem for walkers and cars.
Always keep the grass tidy at the base of the tree so council mowers dont have to go near it and dont plant under powerlines or inline with sewers. This is only if your planting on council green spaces. If your planting in wild land thats not maintained in most cases I just plant them bareroot and leave to nature.
Remember though if your planting potted trees these will need watered for the first couple of years. Bare root trees are different though, most of the time they will survive without going near them, but in extreme heat water them.
I always water mine. Good exercise carrying the drums of water also, I skip gym day and get carrying my water drums for miles, shoulder shrugging and deadlifting as I go, Love it!
My main aim though is just to keep on phantom planting. Dont get caught up on the ones that dont make it, keep on planting and chanting and one day you'll have phantom planted fruit forests like me with thousands of big strong healthy fruit trees providing food for the community and nature.
I challenge you to phantom plant a tree
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter
