Support Tibetan Buddhism
I was at a Tibetan Buddhist temple a while back in Spain and the guy that runs the place give me some of this powder thats from a Buddhist Mandala.
If you dont know about these things read up on them. Some monks spend weeks and months making these very intricate pieces of art and at the end they destroy it. This is to reinforce the mind with the impermanence of life and to teach that attachment is our greatest cause of suffering.
In this life we base our happiness on so many things that will all cease one day. The Buddha says what arises must cease. It is the law of the Universe. Rather than base our happiness on impermanent things, we must find peace and happiness within our own minds.
This powder left from the Mandala is imbued with the positive energy from the monk making this in a state of meditation. Where ever this is spread will bring good energy. I will be spreading this around our spiritual spiral of oak trees.
Its so important for me to support Tibetan Buddhism, everywhere I go in the world if I see their centres that are under the affiliation of Big D aka The Dalia Lama I always go and give them money.
Tibetan Buddhism is a culture trying to exist and maintain its ways in exile. They have no mother land to go back too. Its pretty amazing and inspiring how all these Tibetan Monks living in exile all over the world still practice putting out good positive vibes. Most people in their shoes would be so filled with hate and revenge.
We are very lucky to have one of these high Lama monks living here on The Emerald Isle at Jampa Ling. Never have I heard a word of anger or revenge from this man after all he has seen and lost. Being forced out of his mother land he comes here and spreads love and compassion.
The world has much to learn from the Tibetan people.
So please guys if you have any Tibetan Buddhist centres near you that are under Big D, go and drop them a few quid.
And dont forget to phantom plant a tree too.
This world needs positive vibes now more so than ever before. I'm fedup with all the divide, hate and anger on here and all the over inflated egoes. Ask yourself, whats it contributing?
We will never find peace in the world without first finding peace within. Big D.
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter and Wee Betty
