Nepal here we go!

Me and a good mate of mine are heading to Nepal end of May for the reopening of the Tergar Osel Ling Buddhist monastery that was destroyed in the last earthquake back in 2015.

We were wondering what type of footwear we should get as we are making this a bit of a hiking/backpacking trip and my first thought was sandals.

For years now I have always been wanting a pair of sandals for everyday use and for hiking also. Makes so much sense to have our feet out in the open as much as possible.

I wanted to buy a pair of these before and an ex GF I had said she wouldn't be seen out with me in sandals.

Amazing how these little seeds get planted in your head and put you off.

I have been called names already from wearing them. One person called me Jesus and another said am I becoming a monk now.

I told my old best mate that I was going to become a monk as a joke when he seen me in the sandals and he said - "well will you let me buy you your robes then".

I couldn't stop laughing. My old mate is 89 now and not doing the best just recently. All positive prayers welcome for him.

This will be a trip of a lifetime for me and my mate, we will also be going to Lumbini which is the birth place of the Buddha. Its always been on my bucket list to get out to Nepal one day. A big thank you to my Buddha brother for suggesting this. Its more him thats been wanting to go as he has been following the teachings from this linage of Buddhism for many years now and he is off to meet his Guru.

My mate has a similar chaotic background like myself. Unreal to think the two of us are heading to Nepal on a Buddhist pilgrimage!

As most of you now I've been getting a bit pissed off with social media. Really going to be limited my time on these places. Still I will be doing my writing and sharing my work and phantom plantings. But I wont be interacting anymore in the comments or messages.

I really dont think our minds are meant to handle so much information or so many different views, so much propaganda, so much ego, so much BS!

Peoples own inflated virtual egos seem more important than real life connection these days. And these algorithms are hijacking our minds and manipulating us.

You know when you feed a computer too much information it goes all crazy and crashes.

Thats what I see is happening to us humans. We need an information diet.

In Buddhism its very important what information we let into our minds. Much of the stuff on here is just nonsense and for anyone on a spiritual path its creating spiritual blindness.

All I want to do with my life is plant trees and try and be a positive vibration for the community around me. All my prayers and rituals are affirmations on how I can be a better person and serve nature and community. Any information I want to consume should be assisting and helping me achieve my prayers and rituals.

So much of the BS on here has no place in the path I want to walk.

Look through history and its all suffering. There has always been wars and divide. All of us are just as bad as each other. We all need to work on our own inner peace more than anything. No lasting peace will ever be achieved unless we find inner peace with in ourselves. Wise words from Big D!

What a day today. Heading out here to cut the grass on the oak spiral and watch all the apple trees come into flower.

In a hologram of vibrating atoms our thoughts and minds are altering the world around us.

All our projects are mostly funded by my own business and your donations. I dont align with any advertisers or government funding groups. Again another load of constipated BS that would be futile for my path.

I challenge you to phantom plant a tree

Peace and love
