Graftimg success!

Its round about this time of year you take the grafting tape off your apple trees.

I love this bit and can't believe how well they are looking. I've only been grafting apple trees for the past couple of years and I'm getting better each time. Learn by doing has always been my motto.

200 heritage Irish apple trees I grafted and only 2 didnt make it. Not bad results at all. Think that makes it a 99% success rate!

Many people asking if I'm selling these. Sorry guys these ones are not for sale. I will be phantom planting these apple trees personally as my contribution to nature and community. I get way more joy out of watching my environmental graffiti thrive in the wild than making money from it anyway. Soul richness cant be bought.

We all need to give back to nature as individuals and I'm leading by example on this one. There is enough money and successful people in the world. We badly need more fruit forests and phantom planters.

This method of grafting old Irish varieties onto mm106 rootstock has been growing so well out in the wild for me. I've been observing ones I've phantom planted over the past couple of years and they are looking amazing!

Nature will always let you know if it wants your tree to be there or not. If your trees are struggling and need molly cuddled too much they are not meant to be there. Keep on planting and chanting until you find the right trees that will thrive in that area. Enjoy the connection and learning process as you go.

BTW always try and keep your trees native as much as possible, but for new phantom planters don't stress too much about this. Just get planting and like me you'll learn overtime that native trees will always thrive best.

Stick them in the ground the right way up is all I did at the start when I knew nothing about planting trees. And all these years later my method of planting has not changed, still all I do is make sure they are the right way up.

Another thing when phantom planting, please never plant on other managed land like a meadow or if you see other trees there dont plant either. Go and find ground thats unused and not maintained. Plenty of ground like that around that could be turned into fruit forests for all.

We are not out to rub anyone up the wrong way. Infiltrate, convert and recruit. I want everyone to become phantom planters. That includes council and government officials.

We all need to come back to nature. Its all went a bit wrong out there.

I challenge you all to become phantom planters

Peace and love
