Sad news

So guys, I'm 99% sure that no Trust, Conservation group or land owner cut down our orchard. I had a guy from the forest service out to inspect the site and he said it was all done amateur with hand saw and not a professional.

The more I look at it myself you can see what the person/persons has done and why they put everything in the surrounding woods. They've took their time just cutting one tree at a time and disposing of them separately so they would not be seen with a whole pile of trees in case anyone came by.

This has all really knocked me for six to be honest. The thought of someone having this level of revenge and anger towards has been a bit worrying. I'm worried for the rest of the trees.

I will get over it though and with every negative comes an equal or greater positive. This massacre has generated so much publicity and donations that I am going full steam ahead now in the setting up of The Phantom Planters Trust. People all over the country has offered me land before to plant up wild fruit forests. All I needed was this Trust set up to get the land safeguarded for the future.

I have always had a dream of planting up wild fruit and nut forests. Damsons, pears, apples, medlars, berries, cobnuts and more! All on original root stocks and left to go wild. If people want to forage in the future they are all welcome. But I have always thought that there should be more wild fruit and nut forests on our landscapes.

Please do help us out with this by donating into our UK bank account. Be part of the Virus of Compassion.

We would be needing regular monthly donations like other Trusts to keep this going.

Once setup we will be able to help businesses with carbon offsetting and provide receipts for company donations. We will also be looking regular sponsors from local companies.

You can also search me on Patreon were you can subscribe just a few pounds a month to help with this movement.

Or donate into our paypal account

Out of a muddy pond blooms a lotus flower.
