Saddest day yet for The Phantom Planter!

Hardly slept a wink last night thinking about all them fruit trees that got cut down. I've had some serious things happen to me in the past and I've always been able to get a nights sleep but this barbaric attack on our second biggest community orchard has really got me down.

The memories that have been created here over the years from planting loved ones memorial trees to taking large groups of school kids out with masks phantom planting. So many people had so many good memories planting here.

Now all the 100s of community fruit trees are gone. This has to be a criminal offence of some sort.

Honestly guys, these orchards are my life. Years and years of work has went into these. The money spent and the time and effort carrying water, mulching, pruning and so much more maintenance, all this has really saddened me big time.  Nearly every walk I go on also involves walking around these orchards always making sure they are ok.

Much of this orchard was my heritage Irish varieties, there was around 100 of these native fruit trees. So much effort I went too grafting, propagating and planting these for them all to be ripped out by the roots and thrown over the hedges.

Its also my birthday today guys, 46 today I am and to be honest probably the worst birthday ever to wake up to this.

I'm not going away on this one. I will be back bigger and stronger. It shows me that the system needs changed and that the people at the top really dont care about communities or nature.

I plant an orchard on an overgrown football pitch thats never been attended too from as long as I can remember, possibly 20 years no one has ever went near this messy field. And once something good gets planted that the community and nature love the powers to be come along and chop it all down.

Madness!!!

The authorities know that it was me planted these. The NIEA ( Northern Ireland Environment Agency) came out inspecting these trees many months back and all seemed ok. Well I thought it was ok!

I dont know what has went on here. I should have been given the right to defend this community orchard.

Heads a bit messed up guys.

Appreciate your help in anyway at all.

What I really want more though is everyone that reads this phantom plants a fruit tree today!!!

After spending hours last night trying to retrieve all the cut trees that were just thrown into the surrounding woods. Walking along the line of dead trees last night felt like a massacre. This is the Paramili-Trees war dead. Casualties of The Phantom Planters cause.

These trees will be remembered with the planting of community orchards ten times its size.

I'm not lying down here.

I challenge you to phantom plant a tree
