A liberating experience

 Great keeping the comments turned off on my posts guys. What a liberating experience it has been.  


I never was one for social media, all I ever used it for was selling stuff in the past. 


When I first started The Phantom Planter page around 7 years ago now I was never intending to have my comments turned on. 

I dont really care what others have to say. 

I have message that we all need to plant trees and care for nature more and thats it. 


The Buddha tells us in this book to be careful of seeking praise, if your moved by praise you'll be moved by blame. 


My own ego however got the better of me and I got caught up on here like everyone else having my ego praised and then bruised. Finding myself getting annoyed by the mentally deranged. 


I also let my mind get filled with nonsense information that was futile to my own spiritual path and my own inner peace. 


I made a big big mistake keeping caught up with the headcases on here in the comments section. Never again. 


Jesus tells us to do our good deeds in secrecy so that the focus remains on spiritual progress rather than human praise. 

Again I think we all get caught up with this. Doing good deeds and seeking paise on here. I know my own ego likes to do this at times. I am aware of this though. 


In Buddhist cosmology they tell us about all the Heavenly and Hellish realms of existence. About how our own thoughts and actions determine which realm we go in and out of. Its a state of consciousness. I've been in the hell realm, a place I created myself. Compared to 15 years ago I'm definitely in a higher realm now. 


We are self creating beings the Buddhas tell us. 


If your going to get caught up with the quarrels of the world your always going to be demented as its been like this since the beginning of time. 

Its just how it is in this realm. This is the prison of life where karmic debts are settled.  


Spend more time doing good with what you can see, hear, smell and touch. You feel much better for it. 


I challenge you all to phantom plant a tree. Planting trees and connecting with nature is paramount for us all. 


Right now on these islands nature is dropping its precious seeds. Get out and collect them. I collected some conkers yesterday that I'm going to germinate and watch these trees grow over my life. Expanding my mind amd consciousness.

  A bit about me and how I became the phantom planter. I grew up in a Loyalist housing estate in Belfast, my father a Protestant and my mother was a Catholic from Ardyone, that had big complications here in Northern Ireland but I always knew I was a mongrel, a bit different! My dad was a delboy ( a buyer and seller of everything and anything) and from I could walk he had me a mini Delboy, from selling round the doors to off loading lorry loads of bootlegged cigs and booze straight in from Andorra, he had me street trading and playing part in his delboy tricks to help him sell his dodgy goods! I learned fast how to make money and school for me was my business, I had more money than the teachers, my dad would have stocked my bag up at lunchtimes for me with more of his dodgy goods, perfume, tobacco, clothing, all sorts I had in my bag, even sold some of my goods to the teachers! Magnus Barefoot Grave!

Hidden away off the old train lines with a disused carriage lying in ruins just outside Downpatrick Northern Ireland lies the grave of Magnus Barefoot,  Viking King of Norway, it is believed he was killed in  battle in this area in AD 1103 and buried under the stone you can see in the video.  Love this part of the world, so historic!
