 Another 88 newly planted community apple trees have been cut down.


Done in such a sneaky way, they lifted the tree guards, snipped the tree at the bottom and just left the dead tree in the guard. 


It seems friends of belvoir wood who work in association with the Woodland Trust maintain this land and they were out the past week cutting a meadow next to the 88 trees. 


Anyone know if Friends of Belvoir Wood did this? 


Its also looking like its friends of belvoir wood that maintain the area where another 200 fruit trees were cut down just over a month ago now. 


This has all been such a sad time for so many. Grown men have been in tears at the loss of loved ones memorial trees. I've shed a few tears myself over all this. Years of work and dedication has went into this.

These trees will be replaced and cameras put up. 


This wont be stopping my dream of making Belvoir the largest urban orchard estate in the world.

  A bit about me and how I became the phantom planter. I grew up in a Loyalist housing estate in Belfast, my father a Protestant and my mother was a Catholic from Ardyone, that had big complications here in Northern Ireland but I always knew I was a mongrel, a bit different! Magnus Barefoot Grave!

Hidden away off the old train lines with a disused carriage lying in ruins just outside Downpatrick Northern Ireland lies the grave of Magnus Barefoot,  Viking King of Norway, it is believed he was killed in  battle in this area in AD 1103 and buried under the stone you can see in the video.  Love this part of the world, so historic!
