 The Woodland Trust have a fantastic ancient tree inventory where you can look on the map and see what old trees are around your area, what I like about it is the ones with the orange colour location marker are the ancient ones, it also give you the girth of the tree and the preservation order number which will be tagged to the tree somewhere!


This is amazing for getting the best possible acorn stock for germinating and growing, we need these ancient trees babies phantom planted everywhere!

Any acorns grown from this ancient trees will have the best and strongest genetics around and its just what nature needs, many new tree plantations planted the seed stock are from Eastern Europe and Holland and they are forced grown for profit as usual and is one of the reason why so many diseases are wiping out trees these days, they are weak stock!


These ancient trees are all at least 500 year old and still standing, these ones are hard as nails hence why their still standing and will guarantee our future generations massive ancient trees for them to admire one day!

We keep planting from dodgy profit driven seed stock there may well never be these massive towering oak trees in the future, slightest wee disease comes and masses of woodlands are getting wiped out!


We the phantom planters hold the power to protect our future forests and safeguard good genetics, calling all paramili-trees nationwide to get out and get these ancient seed stock today!


Thank you to Emma Louise Jones for informing me of this map, I knew nothing about it, I have a list of trees to get out and see here today and what a way to get exercise and connect to nature knowing your doing something pretty special in playing your part in protecting our future forests!


For anything thinking of going out to get acorns if you cant reach them you can tape a coat hanger on the end of a stick for picking them, works great and you can get the hook bit right under the acorn.

his is the time of year to be doing this, look  through my videos for how to germinate acorns or just google it, its the easiest thing in the world to do and next spring you'll have the strongest oak trees ready for phantom planting!

  A bit about me and how I became the phantom planter. From Spain to Belfast Phantom Planting!

  Phantom planted another apple tree yesterday with my big glaswegian pal who is over visiting! He couldn't believe the size of the orchard now! Last time we planted a tree was years ago in Spain, 2 plum trees we phantom planted out there, sadly they didn't survive but we had great fun doing it in the lashing rain right outside the Buddhist Stupa as you can see in one of the pics, an offering to the Buddha was my intention! I was at the worst of my addictions back then, used to visit this Stupa a lot for spiritual guidance, really found myself out there, spent a lot of time in Spain soul searching, taking advantage of the cheap winter flights and free stay! I had my last ever pint at the airport after praying at this Stupa, the Buddha responded to my offering I believe! Pretty magical really, faith in a higher power guys, that did it for me, there's more to all this life, more to all this all this world! "Those who don't believe in magic will never find it"..
